Freshman overnight is an event where freshmen from Ohio State and Columbus State come together for 18 hours to have fun, get to know each other, learn about Cru, and hear some wisdom from upperclassmen. Summer Missions with Cru
You can spend part or all of your summer growing in your faith alongside other students.
What's this all about?
Summer Missions give you the opportunity to spend anywhere from a week to 10 weeks of your summer growing in your faith. You'll have a chance to meet people from across the country and around the world. You will get to study the Bible with others, share your faith, and build friendships that can last for the rest of your life. It's a grand adventure that you won't ever forget!
Where can I go?
You can go just about anywhere. This summer buckeyes are heading to Slovakia, Chicago and Ocean City, New Jersey, but there are Summer Missions in tons of other places. Head to the Cru Summer Missions page to check out other locations and to learn more!
Spring Break Trips

This March we will be sending three Spring Break trips out from Cru at Ohio State, Columbus State, and Central State.
One will go across the globe to our partnership in Bratislava, Slovakia from March 8 to 16. This team will spend 5 days on college campuses in Bratislava learning about the country and culture, and engaging in spiritual conversations with students there. The second will be to Panama City Beach, Florida. This is a great option for any student. We will spend our mornings investing in spiritual growth through individual and group devotionals, in the afternoon we will be given training and tools to spend time on the beaches of PCB having spiritual conversations and sharing about Jesus, and in the evenings we will share meals together and enjoy relaxing time in community. Winter Conference in Indianapolis!
Winter Conference is a gathering of college students experiencing Jesus, growing together in our faith, and discovering our place in the mission of God. Over the course of four days, you will have the chance to hear from fantastic speakers, worship led by the winter conference band, attend various seminars on spiritual growth, be equipped to share your faith, and so much more. The conference takes place at the J.W. Marriott hotel in downtown Indianapolis. We'd love to have you join us.
Freshman Leadership Team (FLT) exists to give freshmen the opportunity to meet other freshmen involved with Cru and to form community around pursuing Jesus, to grow as followers of Christ, and to take more ownership of the movement of Cru at Ohio State.
At FLT, we will hangout, have fun, do life together, grow in our understanding of leadership, and most importantly, discover how the good news of the Gospel applies to our daily lives! If you are a freshman, we hope to see you there!

You are invited to join us for our annual Christmas RealLife on December 1st. It’s sure to be a festive night of worship, fun, reflection, and generosity!
This year, we’ll have the opportunity to care for children in our city by participating together in Franklin County Children’s Services’ Holiday Toy Drive. Every toy donated will go to help make Christmas special for a child in foster care in Franklin county! Summer Cru 2023 begins May 15
Are you in Columbus this summer and desiring to spend time with peers, enjoy the season’s festivities, and grow in your relationship with the Lord? Then check out Summer Cru! For 10 weeks beginning May 15, students around central Ohio will meet in large and small group settings as well as engage with our city to deepen our understanding of God and His love for His people.

Is it possible to be an academic and to believe in God? With all the scientific tools that we have at our disposal, how can someone believe that Jesus really rose from the dead? Join us on September 29, as Dr. Disilvestro, an Ohio State professor of Human Nutrition, shares why he believes it is reasonable to believe in God.

Men's and Women's Events
Men's Night 2022
February 11 at 6pm at New Life Gahanna.
Men's night is a time for men all over campus to grow closer to one another and to God through sharing a meal together, talks about God, reflection, conversation and fun. Come with us for a night of fun and growth! The cost is $5 and includes a catered dinner. Sign up here!
Women's Overnight 2022
February 11-12 at Encounter Church
Women's overnight is a time when women all over campus come together to seek the Lord and reflect and share with each other. Through activities, breakout sessions, and time to hang out and connect, come with us to grow in our faith and become closer God and to other women in Cru! The cost for this year is $10 and includes Breakfast on Saturday morning.
